Specification

Installing the Tailgate Damper & Lift Up Spring Set on your Toyota Hilux is a straightforward process that can be completed with basic tools.

The damper mounts between the tailgate and the truck bed, and the lift-up spring attaches to the tailgate hinge area.

You simply secure the brackets in their designated positions, clip the damper into place, and fit the spring so it provides upward assistance when the tailgate is lifted. Once fitted, open and close the tailgate a few times to ensure everything moves smoothly and seats correctly.
