You can tell your rear wiper motor  might be broken if you notice any of the following signs:

• Wiper not moving at all: If the rear wiper doesn’t move when turned on, even after checking the fuse and switch, the motor may have failed.

• Slow or inconsistent movement: A weak or sluggish wiper that stops mid-swipe could mean the motor is wearing out or has internal corrosion.

• Wiper stops in the wrong position: If the arm doesn’t return to its resting position or stops at random angles, the motor’s internal park function might be faulty.

• Intermittent operation: If the wiper works only sometimes, it may be due to loose wiring or failing motor brushes.

Before replacing the motor, check the fuse, wiring connections, and the wiper arm mechanism to make sure the issue isn’t electrical or mechanical. If those parts are fine and the symptoms persist, the rear wiper motor likely needs replacement.
